Auction Terms & Conditions This OnLine Only Auction BEGINS closing THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 4th @ 6:00 P.M. EST NOTE! Jeff Boston Auction Service, LLC cannot ship to Kansas due to Kansas Sales Tax Laws This auction features a staggered closing; meaning at 6:00 P.M. a lot will begin closing every 20 seconds. Estimated length of auction will be approx. 3-hrs. This auction is subject to an auto-extend feature ("a soft close"). Any bid placed in the final two (2) minutes of an auction (each "Lot "is its own "auction"), the auction ending will be automatically extended two (2) minutes from the time the bid was placed. Example: if an auction is scheduled to close at 6:00 P.M. receives a bid at 5:59, the close time will automatically extend to 6:01. The auto-extend feature remains active until no further bids are received within a two (2) minute time frame. You can not be "sniped". The extension time will apply to individual lots only. Until the auction begins to close, the bidding software will notify bidders by email when they have been outbid. Bidders may also find out if they have been outbid by refreshing the individual lot information. Due to varying internet connections/speed, please place a max bid or constantly monitor the auction at close of bidding. Sometimes email notifications can be delayed. If you wish, you may place your highest bid and the system will start with the lowest increment and automatically bid for you in the proper increments. All items sold "AS IS, WHERE IS" regardless of faults. All descriptions believed accurate but not warranted. Payment type accepted: Cash, Check; OR Visa / Mastercard with a 3% convenience fee A 15% Buyer's Premium will be added to the purchase price to arrive at the contract price. NOTE: The Buyer's Premium for the Fire Truck is 7% NOTE on TITLED ITEMS: Indiana State Law requires we collect Sales Tax on the hammer price (bid price) plus the Buyer's Premium, to arrive at the contract price on titled items regardless of what state you are from. All bidders must register for a USER NAME and PASSWORD. The Buyer is solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their username and password, and the Buyer is fully and solely responsible for all activities that occur under their username, password, or on their account. The Buyer must ensure that they properly log-out and exit from their account at the end of each session. Boston Auctions will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from their failure to comply with this section. You must be of legal age (18 years) to bid and provide a valid VISA or MASTERCARD at registration. INSPECTION DATE: Inspection is encouraged, but not required Sunday, October 31st from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. EST ABSENTEE BIDS: you may leave absentee bid(s) by coming to the inspection on Sunday, October 31st from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. ESTand dealing with Jeff or Amy Boston. By accepting the terms and conditions of this auction, you are entering into a binding contract. If you are the highest bidder on any item(s), you will be required to pay for the item(s) in accordance to the terms set forth in the terms and conditions of sale.
